How to Take a Tank Sample

To take a tank water sample, first wash your hands and choose a tap that’s used regularly inside the house (not an outdoor hose). Let the water run for about 30–60 seconds, then fill the provided clean bottle almost to the top, leaving a small space at the neck. Avoid touching the inside of the lid or bottle opening. Seal it tightly, clearly label it with your name, address, date, and time, then keep the sample cool and out of sunlight. Please drop it to our lab at 1/37 Gateway Drive, Noosaville within 24 hours.

To collect a bore water sample, wash your hands and use a tap directly connected to the bore, not a storage tank or garden hose. Let the water run for 2–3 minutes to flush out any standing water, then fill the provided clean bottle almost to the top, leaving a small gap at the neck. Avoid touching the inside of the lid or bottle opening. Seal the bottle firmly, label it with your name, address, date, and time, then keep it cool and out of sunlight.
